Boston Playgoers One Act Play Festival

Boston Playgoers are very excited to be hosting a One Act Drama Festival in 2025. This will be run in conjunction with Blackfriars Theatre, Boston over the course of the weekend of Friday 30th May. Societies can perform their one act play over the weekend with a panel of adjudicators watching. Audience members can purchase tickets for one of the slots or buy a “weekend pass” to be able to enjoy all of the performances. The one act play could be an established script but we would also like the festival to be an opportunity to champion local budding script writers. The festival would culminate in an awards ceremony on the Sunday evening.
