The florist shop known as Dandelion Division. Present day in an undisclosed but rural English town.
Synopsis
A customer comes into a florist shop with a very unusual request related to the Victorian language of flowers.
Approximate running time: 40 mins
Characters (in order of appearance):
F MABEL – the owner of a florist shop called Dandelion Division. Basically a sunflower come to life.
M/F MR. DALLIARD – the spry, enthusiastically green fingered assistant in the florists has an ongoing vendetta against the greenfly eating their prize heirloom tomatoes.
F/NB FREDDIE – the owner of a bookshop down the road called Dashwood Books. Well-spoken and witty, if slightly cynical.
M/F JOE – a customer with a very strange floral request; very reminiscent of John Cleese from a certain sketch regarding a certain parrot.
